Treble hosts DHL Stormers and faithful at annual Golf Day

Stellenbosch, Cape Town – On behalf of Club Newlands, Treble Group would like to thank the players, sponsors and other valued guests for their generous support and priceless contribution to the 2017 DHL Stormers Golf Day. It was a swing of success!

Pioneered by Treble, on behalf of Club Newlands, the event allowed DHL Stormers players and sponsors to enjoy a well-deserved break away from the hustle and bustle of the city, to take in a relaxed round of golf on the exquisite De Zalze Estate. The golf day is our way of showing immense gratitude and appreciation to the players, sponsors and valued partners.

After a smooth and busy registration, sponsors and partners joined the DHL Stormers players on the green in what could not have been better weather. The golfers enjoyed 18 holes, each of which was activated by Club Newlands sponsors and partners, brining interactive elements to the game, such as refreshments and massages. The Treble hole offered the golfers a Mulligan, and donated the proceeds to the WP Rugby Hubs Development Programme.

The day concluded with a successful prize-giving, hosted by KFM’s Jeremy Harris. The golfers were treated to ice-cold Castle Lagers and a first-rate dinner, courtesy of De Zalze Golf Estate. This was followed by a Q&A session with some of the top DHL Stormers players, where they talked about their overall season performance and shared some of their squad insights and moments. The evening continued as the golfers were awarded with prizes donated by sponsors.

Using years of experience and established partnerships, Treble executed every aspect of the event, from conception to on-the-day event management. We would like to thank Club Newlands’ valued sponsors; DHL, Brightrock, Castle Lager, Tsogo Sun, Oude Molen, Peninsula Beverages, CellC, The Entertainer, PostNet and Deep Heat, for making this event come alive. Treble activates a successful Springbok Supporters’ Club Golf Day

The Treble Group activated the annual Springbok Supporters’ Club Golf Day on Wednesday, 15 June 2016 at the prestigious Randpark Golf Club in Johannesburg.

The event allowed the SA Rugby Legends; James Small, Hugh Bladen, Breyton Paulse, Gerrie Germishuys and Owen Nkumane to name a few, and valued Springbok Supporters’ Club and SA Rugby sponsors to enjoy a well-deserved break away and a good round of golf.

The Springbok Supporters’ Club Golf Day was a swinging success! Thank you to all our golfers for your invaluable contribution and for your enthusiasm throughout.

Treble activates Club Newlands Golf Day 2016

On behalf of WP Rugby Football Union and Treble Group, we would like to say thank you to all our golfers, including our special guest new Springbok Coach Allister Coetzee, for your generous support and invaluable contribution to the 2016 Club Newlands Golf Day. We can all agree it was definitely above par.

The event allowed the DHL Stormers players and valued Club Newlands sponsors to enjoy a well-deserved break away and (for the most part) a good round of golf. It is the club’s way of showing our immense gratitude and appreciation to Club Newlands sponsors and partners.

As reconfirmed by WPRFU President Thelo Wakefield, it is because of committed stakeholders, sponsors and partners that WP Rugby and Club Newlands are able to weather any storm and bring new initiatives to the fore.

Thank you to all the DHL Stormers players and all our participants in the golf day for their enthusiasm throughout.

Treble activates top notch Springboks Supporters Club and SA Rugby Legends Golf Day

The Springbok Supporters Club and SA Rugby Legends hosted their annual exclusive golf day at the prestigious Randpark Golf Club in Johannesburg on Thursday, 23 July 2015.

The SA Rugby Legends Association is made up of past Springbok Rugby players, and other hard-working individuals, who have contributed and supported rugby from the side of the field. The goal of the non-profit organization is to develop rugby at a grassroots level and support the needs and interests of the Legends.

The aim of the golf day is to appreciate and highlight the legendary work the rugby legends have done on and off the field. The gentlemen are now dedicated to giving back to their communities and to the youth of our country.

17 South African Rugby Legends; Jannie de Beer, Owen Nkumane, Wim Visser, Hugh Bladen and Gerrie Germishuys, to name a few, joined the Springboks Supporters Club, and their valued sponsors and partners for a round of golf as well as a braai buffet and prize giving.

Treble and the official Springbok Supporters Club, are honoured to be affiliated with such a magnificent organization like the SA Rugby Legends Association and we trust that that each legend had an exceptional experience.

Treble ready to activate a tee-riffic Springbok Supporters Club Golf Day

On 23 July 2015, the Springbok Supporters Club will head to Johannesburg to host an exclusive golf day with SA Rugby Legends, at the prestigious Randpark Golf Club.

The club has invited South African rugby legends; Jannie de Beer, Owen Nkumane and Deal Hall, to name a few, along with our valued sponsors; Absa, Mango, Tsogo Sun, Spur and the South African Breweries.

We are looking forward to another amazing event with world-class rugby legends that are definitely above par.

 

Treble activates the Club Newlands Golf Day

Pars, birdies, drives, chips and outstanding putts, the Club Newlands Golf Day was a swinging success!

Club Newlands hosted their annual Golf Day at the beautiful De Zalze Golf Estate in Stellenbosch on Thursday, 5 February 2015. This was the DHL Stormers players, sponsors and club members’ last chance to really let their hair down and enjoy a good round of golf before the Super Rugby season takes off.

Our four ball winner is *drum roll* DHL! We hope you enjoyed the experience and your well deserved prize. The Longest day, Huawei, received a prize too; a mini golf set!

Big thanks to our sponsors and suppliers who helped contribute to our successful event: DHL, Adidas, SAB, Momentum, OudeMolen, OLA, Bok Radio, Landrover, Spur, Powerade, Huawei and Caledon. Thank you to our MC, Matthew Pearce, for his interaction and humour which left the room buzzing.

Treble Group and Springbok Supporters Club activate two prestigious golf days

The beautiful De Zalze Golf Club in Stellenbosch, Cape Town was once again the host for this year’s Springbok Supporters Club & SA Rugby Legends Golf Day, organized by The Treble Group.

Spending the day playing golf and talking rugby with the likes of all time legends Hottie Louw, Robbie Blair and Marius Joubert, to name a few was a dream come true for many of the golfers.

The day ended with a prize giving award ceremony hosted by Matthew Pearce, a cheque handover from ABSA to the Chris Burger Petro Jackson Fun and a Q & A session with Dawie Snyman, Marius Joubert and McNeil Hendricks.

The Bokradio team came out victorious, with all four players winning a beautiful Taylormade putters.

2 October 2014

The Springbok Supporters Club then headed off to Johannesburg for the second leg of the Bok week and hosted yet another Springbok Supporters Club & SA Rugby Legends Golf Day at the prestigious Parkview Golf Club.

We were privileged to have the following SA Rugby Legends in our midst: Andre Watson, Skipper Badenhorst, Dean Hall, Gerrie Germishuys, Henno Mentz, Lawrence Sephaka, Mac Masina, Owen Nkumane, Breyton Paulse and Stefan Terblanche

The day ended with a delicious delicious dinner and prize giving hosted by Stefan Terblanche. A brief Q & A session was held with SA Referee Andre Watson and Lawrence Sephaka.

The team from Momentum ended up scooping first place and each walked away with a golf putter, compliments from Taylormade

Springbok Supporters Club and SA Rugby Legends Golf Day in Cape Town

The prestigious De Zalze Golf Club in Stellenbosch was once again the venue of choice for this year’s Springbok Supporters Club & SA Rugby Legends Golf Day, organized by The Treble Group.

Spending the day playing golf and talking rugby with the likes of Breyton Paulse, Stefan Terblanche, Hottie Louw, the McCullum and Noble brothers to name a few, was a dream come true for many of the golfers.

The day ended with a prize giving award ceremony, an auction for the Tinus Linee fund, and a Q & A session with Hanyani Shimange, Stefan Terblanche and Welsh legend, Craig Cornell.

The SA Rugby team, consisting of Rassie Erasmus, Jacques Nienaber, Johann Blackie Swart and Stefan Boshoff came out victorious, with all four players winning a beautiful golf bag, compliments of Klipdrift.

Springbok Supporters Club and SA Rugby Legends Golf Day in Johannesburg

The home to the SA Open Championships 2013, Glendower Golf Club in Johannesburg, hosted the Johannesburg leg of the Springbok Supporters Club & SA Rugby Legends Golf Day, organized by The Treble Group.

Spending the day playing golf and talking rugby with the like of Breyton Paulse, Pieter de Villiers and James Small to name a few, was a dream come true for many of the golfers.

The day ended with a prize giving award ceremony, with Ian McIntosh as the Master of Ceremonies. Jurie Roux, CEO of SA Rugby, thanked everyone who attended this eventful day, and a special mention to the SA Rugby Legends in attendance. McIntosh conducted a Q & A session with Andre Watson, Manager of Referees and Pieter De Villiers.

Afterwards, a special auction for the Tinus Linee fund was held.
