We are Hiring! Sponsorship Sales Manager

The Treble Group is seeking an experienced Sponsorship Sales Manager for a permanent business development lead position. The position will be based in Cape Town and report into the Managing Director. Candidates should possess strong sales process, administrative and communication skills. Critical to the roles will be the ability to show a proven sales track record and experience in developing purpose-led client specific marketing propositions.

Furthermore, the job will require the candidate to:

  • Engage with rights holders as to their sponsorship offering and marketing these sponsorship opportunities on their behalf.
  • Develop new acquisition pipeline and sales strategy.
  • Manage and report on the sales pipeline process.
  • Develop and structure sponsorship proposals for various rights holders that Treble represents.
  • Develop customised presentations utilising new and existing products with the ability to incorporate research and purpose led insights to provide compelling propositions for potential partners.
  • Work closely with Treble’s communications and creative team to aid in the design of customized sales presentations for prospective partners;
  • Research and review data, media research, creative sponsorship leveraging examples and potential partners brand marketing information to incorporate into sales process.
  • Present proposals to specific potential partners.
  • Facilitate the exchange of all necessary business documents throughout the sales process.
  • Respond to research inquiries from both internal and external contacts.
  • Maintain relationships and communication with all secured partners, aimed at ensuring partners’ satisfaction, retention and future renewal.

  • Sales experience with a track record of negotiating successful commercial partnerships.
  • 4+ years of Marketing Agency work experience overall.
  • Marketing Degree / Diploma or relevant Sales Experience
  • Experience working at a sports agency is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint a must.
  • Own transport


  • General understanding of the Sports Marketing sector.

Full time, four month’s probation.


Salary depends on skills and experience and will incorporate a basic and commission structure.


The Sponsorship Sales Manager will report to the Managing Director. The position also interfaces with varying levels of staff at Treble.
