As the threat of COVID-19 has wavered we have seen the welcome return of fans to stadiums across South Africa, and DHL Stadium has been at the forefront of this return to normality. The DHL Stormers treated The Faithful to a first ever Vodacom United Rugby Championship title in what was a dramatic run to the grand final.
The Springboks then gave Capetonians the moment they had been waiting for as they welcomed the world champions Boks, who took on Wales in the deciding third Test. Over 51 000 fans were treated to a great spectacle and our world-class bar solution ensured that every single patron was seamlessly and successfully refreshed in every corner of DHL Stadium.
The Treble Group has been at the forefront of this and we are proud to exclusively manage all the bars at DHL Stadium. Since 2015, our operations team has successfully delivered an unmatched beverage solution for the popular HSBC World Sevens Series. This has seen Treble consistently delivering refreshments for over 100 000 rugby supporters over a single weekend, every year, since the Mother City was chosen to host the South African leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series.
We continue our valued partnership with our nation’s top brewmasters, South African Breweries, to deliver rugby’s staple refreshment at DHL Stadium. As always, SAB’s finest beer brands will keep fans topped up with their favourite brew.
